Day 01: Huaraz – Km 42 – hiking to moraine camp (5000 m).
Transport: 3.5 hours about
Hiking: 4 hours approx.
From Huaraz with our vehicle we headed through the Llanganuco valley. During the trip we will be able to appreciate two beautiful lagoons in the Llanganuco valley called Chinancocha and Orconcocha. Then we will follow the road until we reach Km 42; here after equipping ourselves we will begin our hike and we will make a journey to the moraine camp. Here we set up the camp, during the afternoon we enjoy a cozy sunset, dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Moraine camp – summit Yanapaccha 5460 m – return to morain camp 5000 m – Hike to Km 42 and transport Huaraz.

Top day!! We get up at approximately 2:30 a.m. to have a light breakfast and we will leave to ascend the mountain at approximately 3:00 a.m., first we will cross the moraine until we reach the glacier; Here we equip ourselves with all the technical elements.
We will climb about 180 meters of wall (50 – 60° inclination) until we reach the top. Where we will have a spectacular view of the mountains Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Pisco, Huandoy and Chacraraju. Then we will descend along a ridge overlooking the Chacraraju to the moraine.
In the moraine, we unequip and pack everything and then hike to km 42 where our transport awaits us to bring us back to Huaraz.
